Now become our guest to get free tickets.

Who can become a cultural guest?

You live in the district of Brunswick, Wolfenbüttel or in a neighbouring district/city and the following applies to you:

  • you have a Wolfenbüttel Card or a Braunschweig Pass
  • you receive social benefits (e.g.citizen's allowance, unemployment benefit, housing benefit or basic income support).
  • you have a small pension
  • you receive BAföG (Unterstützung nach Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz)
  • you receive state transfer payments (e.g. asylum seekers)

If the above criteria applies to you, it entitles you to become a cultural guest. We look forward to your registration.

What does Kulturwunsch offer me?

The Kulturwunsch offer is free of charge for all cultural guests. You only need to register with us once and prove that you meet one of the requirements above. The best way to do this is with a Wolfenbüttel-Carda Braunschweig Pass or if a social partner confirms this on the registration form.
After successful registration you are our cultural guest. If we get tickets that match your interests, we will call you. This usually happens at short notice, about three days before the event. If you are available and interested, we will send you the tickets free of charge. We will confirm the exact process on the phone. You will usually be able to collect the tickets directly at the venue.

Registration via social partners

Alternatively, one of our social partners can confirm that you meet the requirements to become a cultural guest. To do so, simply fill out the registration form and have it signed by one of our social partners. You do not need to provide any further proof if you wish to become a culture guest.
Social partners are social institutions in and around Wolfenbüttel, for example Diakonie Wolfenbüttel, Stadtjugendpflege Wolfenbüttel, the Stadtteiltreff Nord-Ost/Gartenhöhe, the Lebenshilfe Helmstedt-Wolfenbüttel and Caritas St. Nikolaus in Braunschweig.

How do I become a cultural guest?

To become a cultural guest, you must register. You can do that with this registration form or with a flyer from one of our social partners.

What costs will I incur?

Registration as a cultural guest is free of charge. Even if you receive tickets from us, they are free of charge for you and your companion. Travel to and from the event and, if applicable, drinks/food on site are not included. You must organise and pay for this yourself.

Who pays for the tickets?

Tickets are usually donated through our cultural partners or private individuals. In some cases, the association itself pays for the tickets so that we can provide them to you free of charge.

Which events are offered?

All tickets that we arrange are donated by the organisers. Therefore, the offers can change. For example, it can be tickets for concerts, theatre, festivals, art exhibitions, museums, cinema or sporting events. When you register, you can indicate which types of events interest you. We take this into account when arranging tickets.
